Bohemian Gothic...if there IS another...

My deck arrived today, I did question if I really needed this deck, as I own the Pewter edition and money is tight with Christmas coming up but I am so pleased I gave in and ordered it. I just love the brighter cards.

The mini shuffles magnificently! Really, it does. I can riffle gently by angling two corners of the deck split in half, and done. Or, after a good thorough mixing, hand-over-hand will work quite nicely. The size is perfection. I know I said that already, but it is!

I haven't had the chance to look at all of the differences in the cards...nor do I have the patience to do that. My first edition is--nothing will ever come close in my eyes--but this one is up there for me too.

A snowy day is in the forecast for my Saturday and I can't wait.

:D

I think I found the perfect storage container to toss the mini deck in my bag without worry: one of those Ultra Pro card boxes that gamers use for decks.

or this one if I want to wrap the deck with a cloth:

I like the looks of those boxes auracana!

Looks like my deck and tarot bag are in town and "out for delivery".

I wonder what the charges are for stalking a postal carrier.

I have only gotten the mini so far. I am waiting to order the regular size until I have sold
a few more of my decks. I was really surprised by how much I like the mini. I wasn't sure
what to expect but it's really a great little deck. It's not too small, the images are clear
and can be seen easily and the card stock is terrific. I hope the large has the same card stock.

I will just put this in my purse in the original box. It's so sturdy, I don't think I would need
another box unless you want to keep the original in new condition.

Agreed about the boxes to these decks; they're fantastic.

As always, Baba Studios' presentation of their decks exceeds expectations. I finally got mine (after having to have my car battery jumped twice between here and the post office, but never mind.)

I think this is going to be a fun deck to use (they are supposed to be fun, aren't they?).

The card stock seems much like the Victorian Romantic card stock, easy to shuffle. And I love that it's pretty much borderless except for the card title.

I also received the Tarot Reader tarot bag with burgundy silk velvet... how awesome!

ETA: I think I prefer the Lovers Card where the girl has a scarf/veil and thought I miight use that instead of the other but on further inspection they seem to convey different aspects and emotions so I might incorporate both of them.

The mini box is not so easy. When I close the box of the mini I have to be very careful, the interior margin is too close to the opposite margin and can be fast deteriorated if pressed without even the 2 margins to enter perfectly.

Aha, this answers my trivial question as to whether BabaStudios was using the same fabric for the different images on their bags. (They're not.) The burgundy silk velvet sounds beautiful for the Tarot Reader bag! What color is the interior of your bag, RunningWild?

Part of me wants to throw the cards into my purse with the original box but I'm not sure how long the sticker on the spine of the box will last? Aurarcana, let us know how that box works out for you if you get it!

Hi Karen, I believe the large cards do have the same card stock but since they are larger they flex more than the mini's card stock. I used the larger cards in a reading last night and they shuffle quite smoothly.
