I think I have enough requests to last me weeks...! And plus, I still have a few tarot reading requests from another thread that I need to get back too. Thank you to everyone who participated! I will be offering more readings after I get through all of my requests at the moment. Have a few interesting reading experiments that I would like to try...for now, I am going to focus on finishing all the requests.
Calling for guinea pigs/sitters! Please state your question in the comments.
As a tarot reader, I don't read for the future, past lives, third parties, or medical/financial/legal issues. I think this applies to the bibliomancy process as well, so I am going to have the same guidelines.
Bibliomancy is divination through literature. I came across this form of divination from a fellow tarot reader and I want to give it a try. A little disclaimer: this is totally out of my element and I have no idea what's going to happen or how I am going to do this--it's mostly an explorative process...and I would appreciate any comment or feedback.
If you have previous experiences with this form of divination, any insight is appreciated.
I will be using Lewis Carroll's Alice's Adventures in Wonderland & Other Stories (Barnes & Noble Collectible Editions). It's a beautiful leatherbound book with a classical storybook feel. I was thinking about which book I should use and this book just naturally came to mind. Carroll is known for his imaginative, nonsensical and poetic way of literary expression and I can really tap into the fairytale, absurdist, humorous, and philosophical vibe. Other than Alice's Adventures in Wonderland and Through the Looking Glass, I haven't read all of the stories in this book it'll really be just me taking out random passages and interpreting them.
Anyway. Can't wait!!
