What's in the Chest?

Mycroft

I'm wondering, do you know about when or where the phrenology bust/stuff came about? I've heard of it before, but seems like it must not be real popular...?
I don't know much about it myself, but it was very popular at the end of the 19th century, with journals and qualifications dedicated to it. There was a resurgence of interest in the 1930s and 40s when machines such as the 'Robot Phrenologist' started appearing in department stores.

We are now within the last hour if anyone would like to step up their game and edit their posts with some new insights! :)

I got the impression of a key (skeleton style key) and a folded hand-written letter.

stone_lotus

Hurrah! In before the deadline!

I'm getting something very cold and very sharp. Stone, glass, or steel. Not a weapon, but it could draw blood if handled incorrectly. Sharp edges, rough. Something to do with the human heart -- emotionally or physically or both. Heart-shaped? The color red coming in very strongly.

I'll give a hint in this last hour; you and Mycroft are clearly in the realm of the larger concept that is behind this and you both are pretty right on with that.... maybe... try describing the key and the letter in another way.

Time's Up!

Ah man! I might have disqualified myself by throwing in too many thoughts if you're doing 3 entries in one post. Sorry I've been extremely busy today and everything was last minute. I'll just go ahead and take the buzzer sound and exit out the back.
