Help with a re-occuring dream...

I think re-pete-a has gone offline, so here's my guess: receiving symbols is in the dream, while converting to noise means trying to understand by thinking things which can only be understood in other ways. Some things don't and cannot make sense to the conscious mind, to reason, etc. Of course I'm interpreting someone else's comment so ignore me!

Ok that makes sense...I do disagree with that to a point though...what good are symbols or signs if we can't gain any clarity or understanding from them? It's all very confusing to me. All I know is I'm very far from any type of enlightenment or whatever its called because this is like a foriegn language to me. lol

Maybe it's just not the time for you to understand, yet. Are the dreams still upsetting or has discussion brought you to a point where you're comfortable with them? If they're not distressing, then maybe just let it lie; one day it will make sense. It does seem that you have some comforting presence of your grandma. xx

It isn't as upsetting now. After my car filled with the scent of lilacs that day I felt that I was safe and protected so whatever is happening, I'll be ok. I would like to understand the depths of myself, the world, the cosmos but I guess it is not meant to be understood...yet. I'm ok with that.

I appreciate, so much, everyone's thoughts on this...it has definitely helped me process it enough to accept where I am right now.

Put it this way...

If you were viewing a world that was out of sync with the speed of your own ...how would you communicate with it...

If you said something it would not vibrate at a rate slow or low enough for any in that world to comprehend...

But if you sent a picture / symbol (which was the original language here once) that picture would be the same in slow motion or fleeting snap shot...

It would also inspire one to generate feels associated with that picture...a double bonus.


To give a rough idea of the speeds of a dreams.....

You dream that a door slams and it coincides exactly with something in your dream ...Perhaps a whip crack or gun shot...You wake instantly...to find a swinging /loose door...or a visitor has arrived by car...

all seems normal...
How odd,you say ...then forget about it...Until

Over time one learns that the door slamming noise happens first ...then the dream is created within the time frame of that slam sounding on your ear drums...The dream matches perfectly with the slam...including it as a part of that dream...


The mystics of old knew that within the time taken to wash the face and dry it ,a whole life time can be lived in another dimension...Youth to old age...

What does a large body FEEL to you...Already you have mentioned heavy, large, and not really there, or, part of something...

For example the other day I dreamt of a barrel of water ...upon waking I felt it to represent this container of water called a body...My consciousness knows that I associate Water with mind and consciousness...It also knows that I understand it to be a container...

Long winded ,yes...but the message was picked up ....communication understood...

You have a lot of replies, but I just wanted to say something.

You're searching for inner strength, but finding inner turmoil. This is the nature of your spiritual journey. You are digging deep, and you're finding your shadow side, as mentioned by a previous poster. Don't ignore your bad feelings. Don't ignore any aspect of yourself. You keep trying to find happiness, strength, peace. Peace is when you accept what you find. I think your dream is telling you that it's ok to feel upset when missing your grandma. Don't stuff out the pain with happy memories. Don't tell yourself that you need to be stronger. You feel weak and lost inside, but that is ok. There is no need to hide that from yourself. The thought of your grandma drives you to that feeling of great loss. Feel it without trying to fix it.

enlightenment isn't usually achieved through a comfort zone...Though it can. It requires one to break present barriers and beliefs in order to allow another to take it's place...

A full cup finds it very hard to receive more... when it's full, usually a slight bump spills some allowing additional input.

Confusion is the separating barrier between one belief system and the next...
