Anyone familiar with stairs of gold tarot by tavaglione

I doubt the book is available anywhere other than purchasing a copy of the Tarot Delle Stelle ... probably from Alidastore...

Whew... check your email.
When I lost my LWB for this deck, another member (Gregory) kindly graced me with a copy via email. Naturally, after years of being missing, my original copy was immediately found.

In any case, I just emailed you the .pdf file of it. Let me know if it got to you in one piece - I'm on dialup and it took damn near an hour to attach it to an email...lol. IMHO it is one of the best LWB's ever.

So - since I am clearly a Good Guy today (})) (I had forgotten I ever did that !) can anyone now tell me how to get the mini version shown here - or is it an evil pirate copy, in which case, best not...

Calcifer

Yep... you sent me the .pdf alright. And since it is on my PC now, I can actually SEE it without a magnifying glass....lol.

Mini version ? Of what, the deck ? No way could the LWB get any smaller.

Dammit, I used to own (I think) all of Tavaglione's decks, but I gave 90% of my collection away in a desperate attempt to keep my compulsive tarot-buying disorder under control :D If anybody has scans of the LWB I can see what I can do to translate them in English, though.

On a separate note, Stairs of Gold was a superb deck. I was never bothered by the unillustrated minors, since here where I live it is quite common. I cannot confirm it, but I'm quite sure he's dead now (or at least, nobody knows where he is, I've already checked other italian forums many times)

The deck. The one mentioned by Leffy, further up.

Well I bought the other edition with the different box and was surprised when it arrrived to see that it is actually a Russian mini. Quite a curio.

Just typing this info here for any future searches!

It doesn't come with the original LWB but even if it did, the text would be miniscule and (with that calligraphy) illegible. And in Russian.

The Russian edition was given to me by a friend when I just started practicing tarot. It's not in the same box as shown on the picture here though. It has a small paper booklet with it (in russian, obv).

Since a lot of the mini versions of decks that come out of Russia with differing backs to the regular versions are pirated decks, I would strongly suspect that that's the case here too.

You would be doing all of us a great service if 'Tarot Delle Stelle' was translated into English!

Would anyone be able to scan Stairs of Gold? Perhaps I can turn it into a more legible font so people with translation issues aren't stuck with the calligraphy?

My 'Stairs of Gold' LWB is in English - in that dreadful calligraphy.
