Strength card interpretation in a dream?

bluelagune

Good day.

So I was hoping you can share your 2 cents on the following meaning of this dream.

I run into three women who are selling tarot cards. One shows me five decks and I don't particularly like any of them. One of them names a price of one deck at 14.38$ .... I'm trying to round it off to 15 (Devil). She sais, no she doesnt want me to do that.
She shows me her cards and one that stuck with me was the beautiful Strength card. It had a picture of a beautiful maden and a lion but there was no fear between them. They looked content with each others company. It almost looked like the cub grew up with her. The background on a card was green, they both set side by side and lion almost looked like an oversized cat.

Let me know what yoy guys think.

First thought for me is that you are content in your inner strength for all you need to live life under your own rules.
Could say the deck was showing you your greatest personal asset and you were recognising that with the resonance of feeling from it.
Not sure if wanting to pay more for it was a dream precognition that the cards had power that the woman did not see or did see and was passing on the deck to next owner, you.
Could have been temptation from a couple of witches, trying to make you fall from the sin of pride.

Dreams are cool.

.

Thank you. Could you please elaborate on this more? What details of the dream pointed to this?

Not sure really, just going with an opposite consideration. There could be some internal consideration for you with this part of the dream standing out so much or it could just be an aberration of the dream world, and is just a harmless note of your automatic recognition of tarot cards and sympathetic reaction to them.

Only you can get the full significance or not of this part of the dream which has stood out to you.
Like reading tarot, the first thought/reaction is generally the correct one, which you have told us here, the lion and woman feeling at ease through long association together.

Thank you. Reason I asked was that you are the third person to point out the same thing to me in regards to pride. So had to go google the bible. :)

I find in my dreams Tarot cards come up as really complex messages that I can decode because I understand the tarot system. It's like a short hand symbol as an example and often have interesting messages.

There is tarot symbolism throughout your dream, the 3 women are like the 3 of Cups, the cards they are trying to sell you but you are not interested in any of them is very 5 of Cups and then you are enamoured by a beautiful strength card in a deck.

The Strength card means to you what the dream means to you and I can only offer suggestions. but to me from your description, this could be about dealing with someone in your life who is difficult. Have confidence and diplomacy to perhaps do something. The back colour is green which is all about peace and serenity! They used to paint hospital walls that green colour often to make the patients feel calmer, they probably often still do. Also that card is all about fears are not as bad as they seem. I see this symbol of the card as both a call to do something with confidence and a way of bringing or creating peace :)

Maybe it means not to run from adversity or a challenging situation. Have inner strength to win someone or something over.

Love (no, not romantic kissy-kissy love) can win people over better than any other method.

I was so focussed on the strength card that I missed out on the three of cups and the five of cups. Thank you for pointing this out to me.
You are also correct that there are individuals who have been a pain in my side for few years now. Two women and one man. Each wanting their own thing out of me and doing their best to force me to do what they want. It was either follow them or lose something. I felt so lost and hurt that I would have to give up something that I love ... but my pride would not allow me to surrender to them ... my grandmother once told me that you can beg or you can hold your head high but the punishment will still be the same. So I stuck to the later. Now, I know why there was no fear between the maden and the lion.

I still not sure why they would not accept the 15$ for the deck... its more than what they asked for. 15 is the devil card? Its our fears, obsessions, addictions ...?

You are right on about love. It was all about it, not the kissy kind either :) but the one where people manipulate others to get satisfaction.

As I mentioned above to Danielijuk the 'trinity' was forcing me to do something becuase according to them I had no way out. I have way too much pride for me to accept what was offered. I said no and walked away. They got nothing ...

Im a runner so as always I see myself running but I run into three women who are selling tarot cards. One shows me five decks and I don't particularly like any of them. One of them names a price of one 14.38$ .... I'm trying to round it off to 15 (Devil). She says, no she doesn't want it.

What do you think about it yourself bluelagune??

I know nothing about dreams apart from my own - that I watch myself have repeatedly (I sometimes record in a dream diary - and I dream lucidly).
I'll take a stab at it though.

3 women - 3 aspects of yourself (Maiden, Mother and Crone come to mind - the Divine feminine). Maybe a reflection of an ongoing journey within yourself to find your personal spiritual stance? - to marry a selection into a working format for yourself?
The challenges of instability/adversity rejected (5s), the Devil not being accepted (a subconscious struggle for more fun/cheekiness, with structures/acceptability getting in the way? - i.e. is it suppressed?).
The beautiful maiden is yourself - your un-mined potential to be that gentle Sourceress. There are reserves, powerful parts of yourself you do not let shine. Perhaps you should.

"Our deepest fear is not that we are inadequate - but that we are powerful beyond measure. It is our light, not our darkness, that most frightens us. We ask ourselves - who am I to be brilliant, gorgeous, talented, fabulous? Actually - who are you not to be?
You playing small, does not serve the world.
...we are born to manifest the glory of God within us, ...and as we let our light shine, we unconsciously give other people permission to do the same.
...as we liberate ourselves from our own fear, our presence automatically liberates others".

(- Nelson Mandela - I think...).
