Earth Magic by Farmer is gorgeous.

MagsStardustBlack

I found out this Oracle randomly yesterday on the Forum, and looking at the Cards (on Google images) I found them gorgeous, with something shamanic, I don't know exactly for the moment. And so I ordered it!
I will receive it in 3 or 4 days I believe, and I can't wait to have it.
Excited for you, it is such a beautiful deck, enjoy x

Hope you love it Decan! It still gives me some of my best readings :) [emoji106]

I love this deck as well.
The trouble is that I bought it along with another oracle (because if I bought two I got free shipping) and this one far surpasses the other. Oh well.

This is the only oracle deck that I use for concluding my professional readings when my querents need additional closure. It hasn't yet failed at that.

I usually research decks a lot before purchasing them, looking at vids and pics to see all the cards, but with this one I took a chance and ordered it after only having seen a couple of cards. I was just sooo drawn to some of them on instagram.

When I received it I was honestly a little disappointed. I did not know it was a collaborative deck and the less photo-realistic cards felt "uuugghh" to me lol (like the "DNA" card). But after using it for a while it's probably my favorite oracle deck. I really love how it's not all fluff and happiness! It has some dark cards and I really love those, it really makes the deck much more useable to me.

so true Citrin  do you know what is awful? I hadn't actually noticed each card was by a different artist and I have read with this card a lot! :bugeyed: That makes sense but I have to say the card art blends so well, probably the best I have ever seen in a collaborative deck! At the back of the LWB they quote every artist! It's also the best photo realistic art as well, perhaps that is why makes this deck the majority of the cards have appealing art and it's well themed.

To be honest I was disappointed with this deck too. I received it as a gift and the front of the box is gorgeous, I was so excited opening it and then....a bit of a let down. I do not like the big titles. Some of the artwork is sort of mediocre. Green Man, Tree, Milky Way, DNA...I sort of went yuk when I saw them. Dreary is probably the way I'd describe some of the cards.

However, as an oracle it is insightful. I've had very thought-provoking readings done for me on this forum with this deck and whenever I've used it for myself I've had surprising results. Maybe it's not all about nice art.

However, that said, even though I get good results from this deck it sits in the cupboard more often than it is out on my desk.

Thanks for your posts!
So, that’s it! My Earth Magic Oracle is there :)
First impressions (to confirm later of course): the cards size est perfect, rather big but not too big. The cards are a little bit thicker than those of my other decks, that’s okay, it’s a solid deck.
I like very much the back of the cards, which depicts a beautiful tree. Very inspiring.
Concerning the artistic aspect of this Oracle, and the possible reticences that a few people could have with regard to some cards, I think it is because many cards have a "romantic" side and for some cards an aspect a bit "New Age". I recognize this but it’s not embarrassing. In my opinion this aspect is well-balanced as well because there are several artists, but the deck is homogeneous with an emphasis on nature, animals, shamanism.

I pulled one or two cards and it seems very promising... I think I connect very well to this deck. Cards have a suggestive atmosphere.

Below a pic of a few cards that I chose at random. It's not a spread.

While I adore all off the beautiful painted atmospheric scenes, I really love the Dreamtime card too.

The card backs annoy me, actually. To me they read as being upside-down. I want to put the bright sunny tree at the top... but it's the bottom. I think that this might be the only deck where I don't take the cards off sideways but rather top to bottom.
