Greenwood Question?

I was browsing Flickr for tarot today and came upon this:

It looks like a large scale printing and it looks crisp, but those card backs are definitely not the original, and the titles also look a little different. "Likagordasky Psychic" posted it.

Has anybody seen this printing before?

I heard Baba Studio also had a problem with the Victorian Romantic being counterfeit.

IIRC, the Greenwood image files are available for free on the net (with Chesca's blessing at the time), so someone may have done a do-it-yourself printing of the deck for personal use. That wouldn't necessarily be a counterfeit deck.

Oh, I see what you mean. I had one of those too, it came out much smaller than this one though. Those card backs really raised an eyebrow.

I think the backs on that deck are so cute and clever with the mini shamans offset as (sort of) mini diamonds

I'm curious about the details of Chesca's blessing. It seemed that one minute she was impossible to locate and the next, allowing people to make copies. I'm curious about the transition. Where could I find out more?

Those card backs are very clever. A way to use the original backs without the dreadful effort of lining them up - when I printed off a copy for a friend (in the same way as the one shown - from the on line images and adding titles) I didn't even try - I made a patterned back that didn't need lining up. Wish I had thought of this - but I'm never doing another - it uses one HELL of a lot of toner !

From what I remember blessing was given before she dropped off the face of the earth, not recently.

On a side note, a Greenwood set just sold on Australian eBay for $865 (AUD).
