The seven of cups and the Devil

Mandoline

I think it is against forum rules, so I won't comment. But if you take the time to post the whole spread in Your Readings, I would be interested in discussing that pairing.

Ok I will edit the post.
I will work on it to post the whole reading, because there are some interesting cards in it.

Assuming this is a romance-related reading, I don't think these cards are auspicious. The 7 of Cups sometimes tells me that the querent is in a daze, falling for illusions, might have a delusional view of what's really going on. Sometimes this could be an illusion painted by the love interest because he or she is not being clear on their intentions and the querent sort of "fills in the spaces" with their own fantasies.

The Devil tells me that if the querent doesn't wake up and smell the coffee, the he or she will form an unhealthy attachment with the love interest in question.

7 of Cups may mean there is or will be much to consider and you're (or the sitter is) unsure about what option to select. There may be confusion and/or frustration in deciding just what it is that you (or the sitter) should do or want to do. This decision or decisions won't be easy as there are many possibilities ahead and some, if not all, sound/seem alluring and tempting.

The Devil suggests the possible warning that what decision is made may not be a healthy one and/or that the choice will come with a binding commitment that will be hard to break from should you (or the sitter) ever try. That's not to say that it cannot be done but that it will be difficult and may take quite some time to accomplish to say the least.

It's actually a reading about the consequences if the querent decides NOT to continue with this particular person. If the querent goes looking for greener pastures so to say..

Regarding the options, there are indeed more options. But the querent wants to be sure doing the right thing I guess.

Perhaps do a reading around the options specifically. For instance, option 1 (name specifically what option one would be) draw three cards (or however many you feel needed). Option 2 (name specifically what option two would be) draw three cards for that option and so one and so on...

May be that'll help the decision/direction aspect.

That's a good idea. So for each option you have three cards. And you read these three cards as a whole?

Yes. Doing each option specifically its own reading may give much clearer insight as to which option to select. It will define which option seems more optimistic/promising and which option seems unfavorable.
