does any one know what deck this is?

Wow - ebay says it sold for - well, $142. So you offered more than I did. I think I hate you :joke:

They're lying! In went In with an offer under $100!

gregory

Oh well. If you hate it, I will offer you what I offered them. Which was - A LOT below $100 !

LOL!! I've got to ask though...How much did you offer? I bared in mind when I put my offer in....I thought you went in at about $45.?
Also, there must be more on the way for the seller to declare it went for that amount?
PS...if I happen to hate it, I'll find someone to do a swap with for another deck!

I will PM you. But I feel sure I could buy in something to trade....

Sold for the BIN price. I BET that was because I posted the link :(

Why would you not send it in a pm to the person who was looking
for the deck? They won't even have a chance to get it once the
link is out there.

Excuse me - she did get it. I was looking too; we both offered and she won. I take your point - but the only people in this thread who actually suggested buying it were DDwarks and me, and - well, ours were the only two offers, and hers was higher than mine so....

Maan just wanted to find out what it was, and hasn't been back to this thread in days - and I think - based on my knowledge of AT - would not have bid as high as it went for - though I think would have beaten me, I admit.

Ah, I wish I'd noticed this thread when it first popped up -- I recognized the deck in the clip immediately, given that I bought a copy when I was last in New Orleans, before Christmas last year :). I was quite pleased to run across it at the time, as I haven't ever seen it for sale elsewhere. :)

Edited to add: I can't remember the name of the shop right off-hand, but it was a fairly run-of-the-mill place on Bourbon Street, and the deck wasn't particularly expensive. They had probably another 30 copies on the shelf on the day that I bought my copy. Also of note: none of the copies were sealed/shrinkwrapped. The clerk in the shop said that they came that way from the artist.

Annabelle, would this happen to be the place? There are a number of gift shops, but (apparently) only one occult/metaphysical/voodoo store on Bourbon St. They don't have this deck listed, but they can be contacted to ask about it for sure (once their workday starts, anyway ;)).
