Disaster coming up

NamasteIndia

Couple of years ago i got 3of swords in a relationship and then a career reading
I was badly abused and thrown out
I fear 3 of swords like hell
I even get utterly depressed after it passes

Today a reader got 3of swords and death for me in my relationship reading

How to go about dealing with it

I guess it depends on the position of the cards in the reading?
Honestly, 3 of Swords followed by Death to me suggests the opposite of what you fear. Death means endings or changings, so I'd honestly imagine this reading signifying an *end* to the heartbreak or hurt that you might be going through at the moment.
Remember: Tarot doesn't show you what *will* happen or that the future is set in stone. It shows you the different variables that influence the future, and what might happen if things continue exactly the way they are. Don't fear the 3 of swords: it's just a piece of paper. Imagine it like a caution sign. It certainly conjures up negative meanings, but it's possible to avoid those, if you change course or are extra careful!

Cards come up at different times in our lives and with different combinations, they can manifest differently. It's not always the same as the time before and so I would be wary if this reading was for me to just expect how it was before.

The 3 of Swords are painful, they are swords through the heart but they are also a release, they are a learning experience that is important in our lives. We mostly have memories of the best and worst times of our lives, we learn from the worst times for future. When they came into your life before, it was a nasty situation but you were free of that situation eventually, it was a release.

With the 3 of Swords and Death in this reading, you can't fight against change! Go with what happens, we don't know it's a disaster, you could be in a better place, maybe a release of pain or past patterns! Embrace the opportunities if you can, perhaps you will end up in a better place ultimately!

I agree with Pyrrha. I think these two cards together just signify an end to the hurt and pain. Is this relationship a loving one or does it follow the pattern of being an abusive one?

This relationship ended in heartbreak couple of years ago hurting a lot
Now after rekindling its going through silent phases and mind games
Twice the death card came.up
I fear it a lot
I cant give a shot at this
If i dont give a shot it will again go through 3 of swords

Past experiences cripple me
Though i agree they were healing point
But they were strong hurting point
Pushing.me.towards tremendous depressive modes

I feel the Death card is telling you this relationship is over. Of course, you already know this. The III of Swords is describing the pain you are presently experiencing. If you want to end the pain, accept that the relationship is over and let go, and the pain will end. I see the III of Swords as the pain from fighting the transformation. You are creating the pain yourself by holding onto something that is dead. You must go through the transformation in order to end the pain. Be brave. Bravery is acting when we are paralyzed by fear. Movement is the key. Start packing your things and preparing for a different life. Action is the key for getting through fear. The minute you begin to take independent action is the moment the III of Swords will begin to disappear.

Don't overlook the fact that these cards came up for you by a reader (right?) They may bring up different feelings for her than they do for you, so please try not to influence her reading by inserting your own painful interpretations or conversation that may have come to fruition for YOU in past readings--but may not necessarily influence the energies they are referencing today.

Without having any background info except for what you provided today in your post, to me, this combination might also say that changes are needed (Death,) but they might only be accomplished by bringing problems into the light through needed deep conversation and not attempting to bury them (Three of Swords.) i.e. Problems will persist until you deal with them honestly--but deal with them, you must. The chips will fall where they may, but it is best to "lance the boil" (3 Swords) in order to get the best healing/change possible (Death.)

Whatever happens, good luck!

Death was the quint Namaste.

It didn't come up as 3 of Swords + Death

I think Starry makes a really good point about not projecting anything else other than what I personally saw.

The 3 of Swords came up as a *potential* longtime outcome about the relationship. This relationship hasn't actually happened officially yet. He's only just got back on the scene.

Try not to get ahead of yourself. You are safe. It does sound however that you are letting your anxiety get the better of you x

You are right since the reading was done by another person it may have a different interpretation by them. The most likely outcome is 3 of swords and that is a terror
Anything could have come up 6 of cups, 3 of wands but why dreaded 3 swords

Other readers who did same reading but shorter one have got positive things or atleast they said answer not clear
But ur reading points out to likely outcome which is hurtful
And my past experiences with that card terrifies me
