As a follow up to the salt lamp discussion, I was digging around on the topic of himalayan salt inhalation and ran across the idea of sitting in "salt rooms" or salt caves. Has anyone tried this?
I discovered the only one in my area is acually only about 20 minutes away. It's pricey ($30 for a 45 minute session, though they have discounts if you prepay for multiple sessions). But as someone with chronic sinus issues, adult onset asthma, and chronic inflammatory problems to the point of disability, I'm thinking this sounds interesting. At worst, I pay for sitting around someplace more soothing than usual!
