Phoenix Rising
I found this great link on the astrological correspondences to playing cards. It will most likely be the same for Tarot as well. Make sure you scroll down to find the table not just the wheel in that site.
Note: when you go to that link you need to click on Zodiac involvement, on the left handside

I also laid out the cards in their zodiac groupings
2,3,4,(clubs) King of Clubs = Aries
2,3,4,(Diamonds) King of Diamonds =Capricorn
2,3,4,(Hearts) King of Hearts = Cancer
2,3,4,(Spades) King of Spades = Libra
5,6,7,(clubs) Queen of clubs = Leo
5,6,7,(Diamonds) Queen of Diamonds = Taurus
5,6,7,(Hearts) Queen of Hearts = Scorpio
5,6,7,(Spades) Queen of Spades = Aqarius
8,9,10,(clubs) Jack of clubs = Sagitarius
8,9,10,(Diamonds) Jack of Diamonds = Virgo
8,9,10,(Hearts) Jack of Hearts = Pisces
8,9,10,(Spades) Jack of Spades = Gemini
The Aces are the 3 signs of their suit
clubs=Aries, Leo, Sagitarius
What has helped me with putting the groupings together is that I remember what are the Cardinal(Kings)Fixed(Queens) and Mutable(Jacks)
You will see that the opposites and squares in the court cards are of the same denomination Kings to Kings, Queen to Queen and Jack to Jacks etc.
Would like to know if anyone has seen any other pattern in these groupings
