You must always burn candles and / or incense while reading.
You must care properly for your cards.
You must smudge them regularly with incense.
You must ever use the same ritual preparation before reading. Under no circumstances shall the ritual be changed.

Myth: It is possible to insult your tarot cards, make them mad at you, make them reluctant to share the truth, make them try to trick you, etc.

What about you can only learn Tarot from a Master who learnt it from a Master who learnt it from a spiritual hermit that wandered the world and almost started a religion? Otherwise known as you can only learn tarot from people who are wiser than you. (and who will possibly charge you A LOT of money for the privledge).

Isn't it true that reading too often for yourself will make you go crazy? A doctor once told me that many of his psychiatric patients used to use tarot cards.
