Deviant Moon - II The Priestess

Zib

Priestess on this card covers the light. Is it the Moon or the light of enlightenment? She also cross her hands in the pose that prevent access to herself, to the source of light and to the passage between the towers. Left side of her face, the intuitive one, suggests accessing the inner wisdom, as the eye is closed. She stand on a checkerboard, which is a symbol of internal contradictions and struggles. It helps to understand our own lives, assess opportunities, and prospects, favorable circumstances, but also the pitfalls and dangers. Black and white have long symbolized the male-female polarity, positive and negative forces, darkness and light, night and day, one and zero or blade and chalice.
