A New TdM based on Pierre Madenié, made in Japan -- utterly charming deck!

kenji

Hello from Japan:)

Yesterday I found a Japanese website, where a lady sells a new TdM deck she recently created. When I saw the pictures of the deck, I was totally fascinated.

The lady says she drew and painted the pictures by her own hand, mainly based on Pierre Madenié reproduction of Yves'. Just see haw graceful the expressions of the figures are!

The price is 3,000 yen -- about US$30. OK, how could I avoid snatching at it?;)
I will be eagerly waiting for the postman to bring it to my house...

Beautiful! I love pocket sized decks. Thanks for sharing this!

ETA: Is there a way to purchase these cards from outside of Japan?

This.

I'd like a copy as well. Any way to do a group order if enough of us want one?

According to the creator of the deck, she also referred to Conver and Jodo-Camoin.

She made 1000 copies. The sizes of the cards are rather small, 80mm x 43mm.

And for the back of the cards, she chose to use a pattern of 'washi' (traditional Japanese paper).

I asked the creator about overseas orders.
Unfortunately, she says she can hardly accept orders from abroad as she doesn't have sufficient command of English to process the orders well:(

I will think of what I can for people interested, after receiving my own deck. Please be patient for a while.

Thanks Kenji. Will patiently wait.

Very appealing colouring :)

I would be interested in a group order if it happens. An attractive TdM in a pocket size is just about perfect for me.
