Spread to find out who sent a Valentine card

Hawthorne

I've received a totally anonymous one, which is kind of irritating. A little clue would have been helpful.
In fact I suspect it's from one of my girlfriends just trying to make me think I have an unknown admirer. Can't think of any men that would have sent it - the style of it doesn't suit my ex - and hardly anyone knows my home address.

Any suggestions for a spread? Or just see if court cards come out?

Maybe use courts only, unless you want to ask 'why?'. Just throw down one and see what associations come up.

Or, make a list of the 'suspects' and throw one card (full deck) for each. It might give you a hint of who sent it.

Thanks Alta.

Well I tried doing a list of suspects but the cards I was pulling weren't making sense or helping me.

So I pulled out the court cards from the deck, shuffled them and pulled one card, the King of Cups. Hmmm.
Not sure I know anyone who fits the bill of that, I put the courts pack in with the deck and shuffled absolutely thoroughly. Asked 'who sent me that V card?' and pulled just one card from the whole deck. And it was....
King of Cups.... !!
The tarot both enthralls and frustrates me :)
