I always say Thank you too, but I do not always pull a card after and let the deck answer after I say Thank you. Usually it is just a simple thank you rahter than a two way conversation.

Anyway, to me when I have a conversation afterwards using the cards, it is not really a conversation with the cards but with the power that sends me the answers through the cards. I don't see the cards as being able to think or answer...they are just the tool that makes communication with the power that sends the answers possible for me.

I'm glad to read so many of you are willing to try this, and that some already do! I've found a relaxing, peaceful exercise - much more so than asking questions in many ways.

I love this,

Now this may sound silly but along with talking and pulling cards. After pulling does anyone hear whispers, I hear them all the time when I talk to my deck this happens so much. I'm loving this thread.

Just wondering,

I have at times heard whispers, it was usually with my Faeries' Oracle, but I don't tend to anymore. Usually I just "hear" the answers and thuoghts in my head.

Then shuffled.

Then pulled: 5 of Swords (RWS)

I think my deck told me, well this person is an a-hole, it's understandable. LOL. (and the deck is right...hehe). Or, the card meant that I've taken a lot of s*** from this person so my negativity is related to feeling defeated. At least, that's how I look at it.

If anyone's ever tried this method, share your experience. If not, try it - it's interesting, it's a good learning tool, and it gives your deck a break from answering question after question.

I think this is an interesting idea to do.
