When the Fox is near the querent's card it is a warning to proceed with caution. Something is wrong in their environment - the cards touching the Fox will give the specifics (Heart/Ring/Anchor = love, Ship/Moon/Anchor = work, Ship/Fish = money, Tree/Coffin/Whips/Tower = health etc)- but things such as false allies, people using you for personal gain and rivals are typical Fox traits.

If the Fox is above it means it's influencing you. So directly above it'll mean manipulation, you're acting or being led in the wrong manner. Below it is less severe. You stand more of a chance of getting away, buit do it quickly.

If the Fox is to the left or right matters for descriptions of character. Fox + Person card means be careful of that person. Something about them is wrong.

Person + Fox is more the person is likely to show guile and cunning. They look after number one, but are not necessarily all bad. As long as they get something out of it they'll help you.

Beware seeing Fox + Snake as that is a very bad combination. It means you're in a nest of vipers set to attack. You won't see it coming either.
