Two of Swords

Obvious Masonic initiatory symbolism: the swords, the hoodwink, the guy who is dressed funny, the moon (a Nobles of the Mystic Shrine symbol, borrowed from Islam) overlooking the scene. The card obviously indicates the Masonic conspiracy to take over the world.

8 Coins

In a shady picnic area near Griffith Park, a man sits on a bench hammering out brass stars. Brass stars surround him, at his feet, on his bench, hanging on a nearby tree. The man's name is Greg, and he came to the City of Angels like many bright eyed, gormless youngsters to make it big in Hollywood. Make it big he did. Oh, Greg isn't a famous actor. You won't see him in the latest summer blockbuster, or an independent comedy, or even a local commercial. He couldn't even make it to callbacks, partly because he is a terrible actor, but partly because he thought red leggings were a good look for a man. No, Greg found his success elsewhere. He spends his days in the beautiful outdoors, working with his hands doing something he loves.

Where did you think they got the stars for the Walk of Fame?

Divinatory Meanings: unexpected success, change of direction, when God closes a door He opens a window. Reversed: Tupac is alive.

Edit: I almost forgot, in the background you can see Hollywood United Methodist. https://www.google.com/maps/@34.1041...nLTh7UT4Jw!2e0

Another mystery solved - people are often wondering about the backgrounds in the minors.

9 of Swords.

A woman wakes up ... again ... aghast at the terrible choice of wallpaper she picked out. 'Why on earth did I choose such a horrible design ... what was I thinking' ... its even stopping her from getting a good nights sleep.

Meaning: Think things through slowly and dont make rash decisions. Reversed; dont think things over slowly and do make rash decisions.

Five of Swords

(why do I always get the ones that have phallic associations?)

After a size comparing contest, the two losers walk away sadly, with the victor smirking at them. He pauses for a selfie, his hair blowing in the wind. Confident in his manliness, and with good reason, he dresses in drag and prepares his performance art show, which will consist of him swallowing swords.

Meaning: be aware of what you have, 'coz it's big

3 of Cups

This , like Parzival, is a deep mystery enacted through 'art' (although many may have missed the association when watching. )

The Ace Cups

http://1.bp.blogspot.com/-103yRNyJZi...ce+of+Cups.jpg

Forty Days and Forty Nights, the Bible said. Flood? Forty days? That barely dampens the ground. Now, Australia might be a dry continent, but when it rains it *really* rains! The Ace Cups is one of the two quintessential Australian cards, along with the Dehydrated Devil. He is the sunburnt country, she is the flooding rains. Notice the upper tips of the huge rainforest trees just breaking through the surface of the water? These trees grow to between seventy and a hundred metres tall, and here they barely gasp for air. Someone turn off the floods!

Divinatory meanings: Upright: dripping tap. Running tap. Burst mains pipe. Reversed: The plumber is busy until next Tuesday. Buy some extra paper towelling, and dig a hole in the backyard for all your sewerage needs. Bless the water, so that if the neighbourhood kids play in it, they will unwittingly baptise themselves and join the forces of your chosen religion.
