Self-Readings Guidance

Nemia

I find journaling helps against over-reading (I haven't done so in ages since I'm old and steady now but I remember I had that problem too...). When I read for myself, I use no more than four cards and write everything down. And then I wait how things develop and won't read again until there is real change and my reading can react to the earlier reading.

But that's easy to say - I'm happy in my life and didn't have the feverish need to read on the same question all over again for a long time.

Nevertheless, journaling might help. Take a picture of the spread or leave it on the table, meditate on it - try to milk the last drop from the reading, don't rush on to the next. The more you value and respect the reading you had, the better the cards will work for you - that's my experience.
