a different take
I read the poem and was taken away with it until I tried appling to the cards - then I came up with the problem that Aleph was assigned 'I', not -, and the rest of the poem came unraveled for me.
So I tried this:
Reaching for the promise, and carried on air, Iwill
(Aleph, 0)
Create a temple using the elements which transform.
(Beth, I)
Thus carring us forward and over the bridge to a reward, a challenge.
(Gimmel, II)
Through the beackoning door lies knowlege or folly:
(Daleth, III)
Behold! A window to see an new world beyond.
(He, IV)
Connecting the fixed together to hear the sacred
(Waw, V)
Allows us to be united or divided by sword or armor.
(Zayin, VI)
Being contained within safely and speaking of such love
(Heth, VII)
We need only to control through strengh what we desire to taste.
(Teth, VIII)
By the hand-held light comes instinctual love divine,
(Yod, IX)
From the fist is the rotating fate of riches or poverty,
(Caph, X)
But the balance of all this is by the oxards collar of work.
(Lamed, XI)
From water to water, the knowlege lies submerged,
(Mem, XII)
So like a fish returns to it's birthplace to begin again.
(Nun, XIII)
Using what supports necessary to balance anger
(Samek, XIV)
We bring forth an unholy eye filled of mirth
(Ayin, XV)
And unleash war through an open mouth of indignation, full of grace.
(Peh, XVI)
Within imagination we are taken below the water's surface as fish hooks,
(Tzaddi, XVII)
Catching sleeps' voyage, our ear discerns
(Qoph, XVIII)
The heads' ability to lay waste to, or to grow abundantly.
(Resh, IXX)
Hear the call; fire burns all the unnecessary, leaving the remaining tooth
(Shin, XX)
And giving the power of service to the now equally balanced cross.
(Tau, XXI)
Each line brings forth the image of the meaning of the letter and still relates to the message of each card.
