I am just wondering...

a~
King of Wands, Queen of Cups and Knight of Swords all face to the left or the West.

b~
Queen of Swords, Knight of Cups and Pentacles and the Page of Wands face to the right or to the East.

When only a half of a face shows does this mean that the card may hold two solutions to the situation? We are only looking at one side of the energy.

OR

The cards that face to the East, the energy beginning should be looked at in two different ways (East being the sun rising, rising issues) &
the cards that face the West be past problems that need to be looked at in a different way.

Looking at an issue in a one sided way.

This may make no sense but I thought I'd ask!

An arrangement of the Kings, Queens, and Knights
in the circle of the Zodiac gives an insightful view,
but ~ place The Queen of Wands on the right hand
side: to the East for Aries. She will be sitting facing
The Queen of Swords ~ who now is looking back!

You may also find these interesting, especially the first!

Who are those guys?

Now this is also a very interesting point of view, worth taking into consideration.

Reminds me of some (French?) theory who someone had developed an intricate system which court card had a crush on which other courd card (not necessarily the ones of the same suit).

In the pamphlet entitled "The (Pictorial) Key to the Tarot" 1910-11
A.E.Waite makes a special point concerning the direction of Courts
in his instructions for the order of cards in the Celtic Cross spread.

If used as Significators, he says the cards indicating Past or Future
will be determined by the direction faced (right-left) of these cards.

The instructions for the Celtic Cross are for using the cards for
fortunetelling, which Waite opposed. I think a 'friend' did them,
and he just copied (as usual) their text right into his pamphlet.

Oh, I was not referring to the Pictorial Key, I have to dig in some books tonight.

This specific direction is only in the book...
USGames later took it out of their LWB's :(
