Thank you everyone :D

Aaaagh! Aaaaagh! I like the look of both decks *chews nails nervously* I will have to shop around....

ps the Ancient one is, for me, reminiscent of Tenniel's drawings. I'm not going to justify this, it's just I immediately remembered the Jabberwocky.

2. Uri Raz's Minchiate Florentine online scans:

[This recreated (19th century?) version is a close clone of the Etruria, but has a bright red and other limited color palette: the Etruria is more delicately engraved. Nonetheless, the sample gives you the feel of the Etruria.]

Everyone here probably knows www.tarotgarden.com and www.tarotpassages.com has either minchiate reviews or other scans...hey, maybe a few of us should do old minchiate etruria reviews...

So happy hunting. I bought the small LS Minchiate Etruria once for the designs, at one of those going out of business half-price bookstore sales. I looked at the little booklet, but didn't do much until the book-deck set by Williams came out...one of those gentle and light-hearted tarot friendship topics that keeps revisiting me...
