"Blood Moon"

Ronia

I thought some of us may be interested in the Full Moon eclipse tonight or also known (poetically) as a "Blood Moon". :) Many of us will be able to watch it and it's worth the effort, IMO. Here is an article on the reasons why we should stay awake and watch it (some are serious, others not so much): http://www.theloop.ca/news/opinion/...-eclipse-is-the-coolest-thing-you-ll-ever-see

I'm planning to wake up about 4 a.m. I should catch it in the middle.

Eclipse chart

This is the eclipse chart: http://tinypic.com/view.php?pic=16m5bn6&s=8

I couldn't help but notice the bunch of oppositions, Mercury exactly conjunct Uranus and Pars Fortunae exactly conjunct the Descendant. It makes me think quite a few conversations may end up unexpectedly in the relationships sector, both positively and negatively. Of course, the Grand Cross is there as well.

Thanks for the heads-up! I think it's going to be cloudy here... but maybe it will clear!

Ronia

My pleasure. It was raining here all day but it cleared literally half an hour ago as if I had ordered it! Hopefully it stays clear.

Barleywine

I'm already yawning, and it's going to be cloudy here anyway. I had the good fortune to see one in a completely clear spring sky a few years ago. (At least I seem to recall it being quite red.) I suppose if you've seen one . . . but if I happen to get up and the sky has cleared, I'll go take a look.

GotH

Yay! I've been looking fwd to this. Thanks for the timing info...

Thanks for posting this, i'll just miss it as I get up for work at 4h30 am. If anyone gets a pic can you post it?

Autumn Spice

Thanks for posting this. I thought it was tomorrow night. I hope I can stay awake.

Ronia

You're all welcome! I'll try to make a pic although I'm not sure how it will work out with a phone.

Barleywine, there was one right on my birthday 10 years ago. I saw it but I want to see this one as well, if it stays clear here. :)

I've been studying the chart for a while and I think this one is quite heavy, isn't it? I think the returning Mars will be the trigger for the Grand Cross though, not so much Mercury now... Just my thoughts. I also notice the Moon is conjunct the North Node which should make things matter a bit more than usual but I'd also take it as a reassuring sign that we may actually survive this configuration too. LOL

I can't contribute in regards to the chart, unfortunately my astrology is very weak.

But for those of us who have cloudy skies, we can watch it streaming online - I like http://live.slooh.com/ for these events :) :TMOON
