Gail Fairfield's numerology system?

FaintlyMacabre

I wasn't sure where to put this since it isn't only early decks that have pips.

However, does anyone use or have good luck with Gail Fairfield's system for reading them? I had her book although I see things have been reissued and changed now. Somehow I found it hard to wrap my head around the odd numbers being "good" but maybe I should give it another go. (I can get this I suppose with the ace being the beginning, etc., but four seems stable to me somehow.)

I have read with my Marseille-type decks but likely by imposing RWS meanings on the cards. I've also read the threads here and some other places but nothing quite "clicks." Some decks have more developed foliage, etc., but that doesn't always work.

I no longer have the Fairfield book but at least it was simple as long as you could remember a few things. I have quite a few decks with pips..And quite a few Marseille and Italian decks too.

Thanks for any ideas. I just read for myself.
