Sacred Sites Tarot

RavenOfSummer

Hello! Just wondering if anyone has the Sacred Sites tarot deck from Lo Scarabeo? I'm curious because it looks like the deck was first published in 2012 but is already out of print? Just curious if anyone knows about it or has experience with this deck. Thanks :)

Sacred Sites is a much longer thread about this deck. I can see how it would've had a specialized enough audience that it wasn't a huge seller and would therefore be OOP. OOP doesn't necessarily mean that it's HTF (Hard to find) though.

I had this deck for a while, but then gave it away. The art was nice but the deck did not meet my expectations. I assumed all the sites would be real places, not places of legend; though most were, a few were not (I vaguely remember something about Demeter and the Bermuda Triangle). What bugged me the most about the deck was that several cards were incorrectly labeled as one place when they were clearly not. The only one I can remember off hand is St. Patrick's well that was supposed to be in Ireland yet is actually based off a well in Italy.

Actually they've discovered the Bermuda Triangle is real and it's caused by ocean flatulence šŸ˜µhttp://interestingengineering.com/mystery-of-the-bermuda-triangle-has-finally-been-solved/

Very interesting, thanks for your thoughts all. And Rodney thanks for the link to the longer thread- I'm new to the forum and still figuring out how to find what I'm looking for, so greatly appreciated :)

Welcome to the forum! :) I'm sure there are others who do enjoy this deck. You might post in the the Pros and Cons thread to get more input:

There are lots of Patrick's Wells in Ireland! The card depicts the one on Station Island, Lough Derg, more usually known today as St Patrick's Purgatory.

But some cards are a bit odd in their choice of place. The Chariot shows a pilgrim to Santiago de Compostella hitching a lift on a cart and Justice is Angkor Wat.

Thanks for the heads us David! :) Any chance of finding a link to a photo of the one in Ireland? I could only find a photo of the Italian St. Patrick's Well:
