New for 2014 - The Deck of the Dead by Seven Stars

So far the vote is leaning toward 1, 1 & 1. I just finished putting the titles on them & I'm sending them to the printer with several backs to see which looks better (have a couple more as well) so my first deck is just going to be a modge podge but I'll let you know as soon as I get them.....

Thanks guys. I think I'll be able to tell better when I see them in my hands. It's a really goofy deck anyway - the only cohesion is the color & the borders - the rest is mish mosh all over the place with all sorts of artists & styles & a general theme of death. I tried to make it in such a way that "I" would like to use it in a Samhain setting (I read at a lot of parties over Halloween). Last year I realized in the dark rooms it was kind of hard to read the Samhain II. With this deck, a lot of the images are so odd that they lend themselves to whole new interpretations so I didn't want to limit them to specific keywords.

For example, the King of cups is holding a cup outstretched toward the Queen (if you put the two together) & the Queen is passed out with her cup falling from her hands, as if she'd been poisoned. The Kings & Queens look very composed & dignified, but in the background, they have ghosts & demons haunting them. The Emperor stands over a pile of dead soldiers. The Four of Wands shows an empty house - possibly haunted, nobody home. The Queen of Swords holds a sword behind her back as she gazes oddly over at the oblivious King. In the 8 of Wands, Death shoots arrows up at a tree full of people - death comes swiftly? So ya a lot of oddities, kind of creepy & if you're uncomfortable with anything having to do with Death for heavens sakes don't buy this deck because it will be disturbing.

Oh sorry Gregory I'm still not used to these sorts of things - I'll probably need a reminder again sometime! Here I'll try that one again. Also - that last post of mine - I was probably not supposed to put that in this thread was I? I'll put it in Advertisements.

Well it's going to be one of the goofiest decks you've ever had Le Fanu - It's awkwardly mad & mis-matched. You're going to get some cards and be like huh I wasn't expecting THAT...I hope you like it.
