I think this card is a perfect example of how a 'simply' illustrated card can still have a big impact! It's just so eerie! I get strong vibes of The Scream from it. The setting is a black, barren landscape. A road leads into the distance. The sky is a sickly yellow color and a crescent moon is just barely visible. A thin, hunched Death stands in the foreground cloaked completely in black. Death's face is flat (no chin) and completely white. Its eyes are blank and white with no irises, and it has no mouth. Unlike many of the other figures in this deck, Death doesn't wear a mask. Is this the face that lurks behind all the masks? You know what they say, you can't hide from death! This Death looks like it could easily see through any mask you might wear.
