A ribbon around a bomb.

These are getting better and better! Both the Tower and the Empress are really powerful. They capture the spirit of the card and the essence of Frida. I am amazed you can paint them so quickly yet so well! Just beautiful.

Laura Borealis

Beautiful! I love the bees on the Empress. And the white branching stuff coming off the baby. I don't know exactly what it is, but I like it.

IHeartRescues

I am looking forward to any updates!

Hi wooden-eye, how is your project coming?

Jagdamba

The images are fabulous, love this concept!

Just realised I have not posted a progress report for 2 months.
So here are a few of the most recent cards. Still finding every one a challenge with each image messing with me at some stage before its completion. I am chosing to see this as a good thing.☺

Thank you so much feynrir!
And I will gratefully receive those vibes and turn them into more art.
I am so happy you recognise this is exactly as you said- a most loving tribute to Frida. 💚💛

This one is the Ace of Cups.
So far I am really loving these aces.
As a infant Frida's mother was unable to breast-feed and employed a South American Indian woman as a wet-nurse. Frida painted this lady whose face she claimed not to recall as a symbol of mother nature and was likely inspired by Pre-Colombian fertility artifacts.
My watery ace is inspired by this care, sustenance and nurturing.
