The Emperor : A Long White Beard? Really?
For years I never thought twice about this detail. The Emperor was The Emperor. Pamela Colman Smith's image was crystal clear. Even if, as might be supposed, it was paired with The Empress, and how many assume she is pregnant, and naturally, The Emperor is the expectant father?
BUT then one day, there it was: The Emperor has a long (long) white beard..!
Consider : if the "Rider Waite" deck is a Golden Dawn deck, The Emperor among many things, also signifies ARIES which the GD gave 66% of to one of their Queens.
The GD Empress signifies Venus. So, like sure, Aries and Venus, a popular pair (sorry, Mars).
Shouldn't an emperor in the Golden Dawn structure be ACTIVE like their Knight-King/King-Knights ~ all of which have at least 33% of a Cardinal zodiac sign? Some have 66% some only 33% but, that's the GD.
Cardinal = Active ~ Hello Suffragettes?
Fixed = Throne Worthy (!!unneutered!!)
Mutable/Common = Riding on Mounts
So, if I may present to my favorite forum a simple question : would anyone be interested in joining together here for a discussion/exploration of The Emperor's LONG WHITE Beard?

Edited to Add: each Zodiac Sign has 30 Degrees.
The Golden Dawn "shifted" all assignations by 10,
so percentage-wise all Signs were 10/20 Degrees,
which gives us 33% / 66% and love it, or leave it.
