She likes her runes, honestly. She's not a disbeliever, but almost the opposite. She believes that she is a curse to tarot cards.

Also, I agree about not being able to watch them. I had a really close call last night. The two year old got into the locked room where all the grown-up hobby things go. When I found him, one of my decks was all over the floor. He also dumped a container of water out mere inches from the cards.

That was scary. Nothing was damaged, thankfully.

There's an aside of finding the Magician mingled with one of my stage magic props, but that's just an intriguing side note.

I've accidentally sat on a card once or twice, resulting in a bad crease...
Fortunately, the rest of the deck was already pretty well broken in, so it doesn't stand out too badly (and doesn't seem to effect where the deck cuts).

The Tarot Chest sells single cards now (from certain decks, but I think she'll add more if you ask for them), which I think is a brilliant idea.
