The Other Frog Tarot.

A couple of years ago I was given three frogs. (not live ones!)
Mummy frog and her two babies.

And, for a long time now they have been sitting in the living room watching everything that goes on.
Getting posed into different positions.

They are just too cute for words.

And they said to me....
Please....
We want to make a tarot deck.

So, I think I am going to help them do exactly that.
I have been thinking about it for a while, and planning it in my mind.
I'm going to get the frogs to pose for the major arcana, and I am going to photograph them.

(just for fun!)

So, I thought I would introduce my frogs here.

Here they are, the famous Tarot frogs.
And the second picture is them practising for the Hierophant.
The pose that gave me the first idea.

Is that cute or what???

Frogs are well cool.

Today my husband came up with the right idea for getting them to stand up and pose, which is the thing which has had me stumped.
He's clever with stuff like that.

Now I have to make costumes and props.
Can't have a heirophant without the hat!

I'm glad there are so many frog lovers out there.

As for publishing it, I doubt it.

But I will do the cards big size, even if I don't post them up anywhere near that size, so they could be printed if I wanted too.

I think I may do the lovers card first, cos they will be naked frogs on that one. so it will be easy.

Them three frogs have become part of our family, so it will be nice to have a reason to play with them.

Sounds likea lot of fun and they are sooo cute ! I once made a huge ceramic, golden Toad I gave to my sister and she had it in her conservatory in Vancouver for years. I love frogs too !

It was a golden Toad with an aura !

You could do one with a light behind it !
