How MANY and WHICH Lenormands in your Reading Arsenal?

RavenLuna

I don't have many, but I'm not collecting.
Celtic Lenormand is my current favourite.
Enchanted Lenormand for GTs.
Gilded reverie for travel.

I could do with a historic deck and a mini, then I think I'm done.

(I was just thinking about a starting a thread like this! Great minds and all that . . .)

This is my Lenormand collection. (I really have 21 of them??!!)

Alternate Realities Lenormand without keywords
Dutch Lenormand Mini
Fairy Tale Fortune Cards
French Cartomancy
Game of Hope Lenormand
Halloween Lenormand
Jewelry Box Lenoracle Blue Velvet
Jewelry Box Lenoracle Blue Velvet Mini
Lenormand Blue Owl (playing card insets)
Lenormand De Marseilles Illuminated Edition
Lenormand De Marseilles Standard Edition
Lenormand De Marseilles Standard Edition Mini
Lenormand Oracle
Lenormand Reloaded
Lenormand Silhouettes
Mlle Lenormand Cartomancy Deck (Piatnik)
Mini Stamp Lenoracle
Mystical Lenormand
Le Petit Lenormand Noir
Titania’s Fortune Cards
Yuletide Lenormand

eta: I also have Chronata's adorable Lenormand Stone Oracle, and it reads quite well!

I like to read with the minis (Dutch, Jewelry Box, and Stamps) and the Piatnik. I really like the vintage illustrations of LS "Oracle," but it's regular LS size, so kind of big for Lenormand reading. (And the backs are a singularly yucky green.)

Lenormand De Marseilles (I sprang for the set of three editions when they came out) are just for drooling over (so far).

Silhouettes is a visual delight.

Fairy Tale Fortune Cards are so much fun (but also quite large!). Also fun are the Halloween and Yule. Haven't tried reading with them yet.

I hope I'm enabling someone here!

I love that even with more standard images....

we each have so many similar or different favorites!

While I could read with any deck where I can easily see the symbol the card stands for in Lenormand, I DO read with every single Lenormand deck I have. Granted, it's not that many, but could I use just one? Well, sure, but.... :).

Other than waiting for the newest Flonz by Baylys to come out, as well as Anna. K's, for now, I'm good as far as Lenormand and tarot decks. Notice the....for NOW lol.

Padma

I have the Gilded by CM
the Blue Owl
the Dondorf (app)
the vintage German with poesy inserts by Seven Stars
the Lenoracle by Seven Stars
the Game of Hope that Tag Jorrit restored
the Mystical Lenormand by Trosch

I think that is it, and it's enough :) a Clover is a Clover is a Clover, after all!

ETA I find I have a taste for traditional decks. The ones I read most with are the Dondorf app, and my battered and much beloved Blue Owl. :)

So true, Padma A Clover is a Clover

I just do quite a lot of readings and it's nice to change artwork. And I do tend to reach for certain decks for certain readings or as the mood strikes. But you're so right. Do we really NEED more than one deck? No. But I want them :). I love the Lenormand decks I have.

You know, it is a funny thing, GD, but I treat my tarot decks like you do your Lennies - reaching for different ones for different questions/moods. And I have at least 40 tarot decks now. But oddly, the Lennies don't do that to me! Strange :)

I do a lot more Lenormand readings than I do tarot readings, Padma :). Maybe that's why. I read tarot mostly for me, sometimes a friend will ask, but it's almost always Lenormand for everyone besides me and I don't even read tarot for myself every day.

So yes, I love all my Lenormands and it's just nice to see a different picture, even though it means the same thing, the artwork can change things up a bit when I'm reading a lot:).

Padma

totally understandable! I get it :)

I have way too many. 33 :bugeyed: I've cooled off on the Lenormand decks lately, thank goodness.

I am not trying to collect Lennies.

I have the Enchanted,
Shabby
LoScarabeo
And Mysteries of the Old Castle.

I probably missed my chance to purchase the Mystic Mauve

I keep meaning to get a historical type like the McLoughlin....

But I am not trying to collect. ;)
