I've quite enjoyed using this spread for quick little questions... I was wondering though - if you use this technique, do you separate out the majors first, and just use the minors to deal out for your ace/ten? Or do you use the whole pack together and then search through it for the corresponding major when your ace/ten comes up?
When I deal out, I always count the first card as 'zero' so if I deal eight cards, my count is at seven. If that makes sense. I dunno, it seems to work for me.
I used this twice to clarify points to a friend I was reading for - it's quite funny when you know what corresponding major you're looking for through the pack and they don't know until you lay it down. I grinned like a maniac hunting for one particular major. I have no poker face.
