Paulina Tarot ~ Ten of Wands

hopena

This Ten of Wands, reminds me of myself.

The colours in the card look neutral, but the look itself is stressed - with the tones, the clouds, and this young man trying to to walk on a slope, that also looks uneven on the surface, when it comes to the land itself.

His hat reminds me of the feelers on a bug. He walks with ten wands strapped to his back, and then stops to gather rocks - rocks that, it seems obvious to me, he can't possibly carry. This reminds me of myself and the books I lug around with me; I'm teased about it. This young man looks scared, as though he has to carry them, for some reason, but he knows that he won't be able to.

The dog sits off to one side, tongue hanging out, clearly out of breath and wanting something to drink. The flowers next to the rocks, also look as though they could do with some water/nourishment. In the little book, both the dog and the flowers are said to mirror the exhaustion in the young man.
