Faerie Theme Songs

Amashelle

As someone who assoiates music with everything, I have given some of the cards in the Faerie Oracle theme songs, and thought it would be interesting to see if and what songs other people have associated with the cards of this deck. I know there's a bunch of threads for tarot cards on this, but nothing (that I can find) for the faeries, so here are a few of the ones I've come up with to get things rolling.

The Maiden: Wunderkind by Alanis Morrisette
(http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=F4zyA7uK5oU)
About the wonder, innocence, belief, and naieve intelligence of a child.

The Journeyman: Olde Village Lantern by Blackmore's Night
(http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=xUzo591mgUQ&feature=related)
Because it's about leaving home, and coming back changed even though the important things, like love and family, will always be there.

The Dark Lady: In Love with the Darkness By Xandria
(http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=lAUakCgF4ZE)
Because it's about not being afraid of the unknown and about the magic and mysteries of the night.

Those are just a few that I have, does anyone else have any?

Having just posted about Death, I thought I'd add this one to the list:

"Rain" by Patty Griffin: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=wWhl_ZNluv0

It's like it was written about Froud's Death card. At least, my interpretation of it. Plus it's a beautiful song.

Faerydae

Interesting idea.....I don't have any but like what's been posted already.

I never thought of having a theme song for the cards. Now that will be on my mind more and I might come up with something to share.

Fiacha

"Beltane" by Incubus Sukkubus sounds like "Himself".

Then there's "Stepchild" by Gwen knighton, which is not exactly fitting for a particular card, but a great song about the stepdaughter of a selkie.

(It's not on youtube, but can be found on last.fm)

And there's "Artemis" by Wendy Rule, that reminds me of the Green Woman, just by the feel of it.

Wendy Rule has one for The dark lady, too. It's called "Open my senses", but I couldn't find it on the www.

And forever Loreena McKennitts version of Yeats' "Stolen Child".

Jewel

My faeries seem to think every song is their theme song *LOL*. No honestly I have never thought of this. Now my Cosmic Tribe loves Pink Floyd, but that is my only deck that is a fan of any band or has delved into music.

Those are some good songs. And speaking of Inkubus Sukkubus, what about Goblin Jig for the Dance of the Pixies? I couldn't find it on youtube but the lyrics are here http://www.lyrics007.com/Inkubus Sukkubus Lyrics/Goblin Jig Lyrics.html.
