This is really handy, Nisaba! My dog ate my beloved Gilded Tarot (the remains are being carefully cut out to make a mixed media collage/painting to hang in my yoga/reading room) and so I needed something to quickly, easily and cheaply replace it. I always like to have a deck to carry around in my purse, so I went to the dollar store and bought two decks of playing cards and a permanent marker. I spent some time finding cards from the second deck to use for Majors (Jack of Spades = Magician, Ace of Wands = Sun, 7 of Hearts = Moon, etc.) and scribbled some quick pictures and labels on them with the marker (nothing fancy). Voila! A complete Tarot deck for $2. And I like that they're non-threatening to people who are really against them.
But I digress. I just used them to do a quick 3-card spread for a job I was recently interviewed for. The question was simply, "So how is the decision coming along for this job?" Queen of Pentacles (me), Hermit and Jack of Wands (the other candidate). I'm guessing the other candidate was a younger person, maybe not so experienced, but full of enthusiasm, creativity and out-of-the-box thinking. The Hermit says to me that they're still deliberating. My question then was, "Okay, so when can I expect to hear about their decision?" and the answer was 2 of Swords. That's when I started hunting for timing interpretations.

So it sounds like 2 weeks. Anyway I put the card back in the deck, gave it a quick shuffle, and have been reading more in this thread. On a whim, I thought I'd pull one more card from the deck to see if it had any comments. 2 of Swords again. What are the odds? LOL I guess I'll find out in 2 weeks.
