Depends on what you mean by "original design". If you're talking about decks based on the Game of Hope, which is the origin of the Lenormand deck, there are a couple of reproduction options:

AT member Tag-jorrit did a beautiful reproduction. I have both the regular size and the mini and can attest that they're absolutely fantastic. I don't think that deck is currently listed on her shop, but, if you contact her, she might be able to do a special order for you. That's how I got mine.

(I'm actually looking to sell my mini. PM me if you're interested.)

The other options are:

and

If you mean something else by "original design", you'll need to be more specific. But, regardless, I'd strongly recommend checking Tag's shop (first link given above), as she has many beautiful reproduction decks listed.

When Mlle LeNormand was alive there were no decks named for her. After her death they began to appear.

The Lenormand cards that were produced after Mlle LeNormand's death used the same numbering system and symbols as the ones contained in J.K. Hechtel's parlor game Game of Hope. that was produced c.1799. The game was not designed to be a fortune telling game, however, it is believed that the cards bearing Mlle LeNormand's name were modeled after that card game. The earliest decks that were designed using those symbols were believed to be either the Daveluy deck or the Frommann & Bünte deck, both from c.1860.

Thank you everyone, yes I'm looking for a deck closest to what Mlle LeNormand would have used.
Thank you ❤️ Aster is your mini playing card size or how big? X

As I was just completing a mini version of the Daveluy deck, I realized that while the Game of Hope is most likely the "original" design, the Daveluy is one of the oldest ones that was actually named for Mlle LeNormand -- and could possibly the very first one issued after her death. In that case this one could well be considered the original Lenormand since it was issued as a fortune telling deck while the other was parlor game.

And this one came with the a set of instructions, known as the Philppe LeNormand instruction sheet that accompanied virtually every Lenormand deck issued up through the late 20th century.
