Do you mean the bronchitis was bacterial or the pleurisy was bacterial? I did take antibiotics for the bronchitis & pneumonia, but she didn't give me a 2nd round for the pleurisy.

That mead you linked looked good. I've never had mead, I don't think. It's sweet, isn't it?

The pleuritis was bacterial ... Like I said, I hadn't treated the bronchitis at all, I was young and a party animal and thought it would go away if I just ignored it long enough. But I think you need to have antibiotics unless it is the rheumatic version.

Mead comes in various degrees of sweetness, I actually like the drier ones much better than the sweet ones. Fortunately, the leader of my reenactment group has just gotten a job with a producer of mead and fruit/berry wines, so we get lots of samples! They also have all these awesome bottles which look like potion flasks, others are stoneware ... Very decorative.

Drop by any time for a few tankards :-)

Hi everyone! oooh, shiny new pub!

One of my regrets in life is that I never had mead before I quit drinking....I always wanted to try it! Obviously it's off the table NOW, but I do feel like I missed out.

I'm slightly bummed after a lengthy and costly dental appointment - five fillings, $600 The Novocaine is finally wearing off after 6 hours! Oy. But at least I've got the Pub to come home too (((((ATF)))))
