I wouldn't discount antifreeze either--a teaspoon full can kill a dog, and pets seem to like the taste. A tablespoon full will kill an 8 year old. The stuff is extremely dangerous. Given it's winter, that antifreeze CAN end up on the driveway or floor of the garage, or be in a container that's not closed completely, a dog could find his way into it.
