Hi Cocolisa

Welcome to AT. I have now have become interested in Cartomancy as well. I have a few threads in the "Oracle Decks Forum" that's where you will find all the Playing card info.
I've done alot of search on the web and there's a couple of good sites.

You will find alot of different meanings for cards, the older gypsy fortune telling methods that have been handed down, although some of the meanings I found a bit outdated. Some use the meanings that are the the same interpretations of the Minor pips in Tarot. So why not read tarot.
One of my best friends is a cartomancer of 25 years, she was lucky enough to be taught by her grandmother. She does it professionally, she is very accurate, because she knows her cards so well.
In the end I decided to do my own meanings, a little bit more simplified and modern day, you will be able to find my meanings at this link

You will find a few members on here that work with both tarot and cards. Enjoy

Hi Cocolisa,

Welcome to Aeclectic.

I think this thread would be better suited to the Oracle Decks forum so I'm moving it there.

I found the book "Playing Card Divination for beginners" (by Richard Webster) very interesting, concise, and full of unique inputs. I'd go with that for a great springboard into advanced methods later on when you get good at it.

Hi Rainwolf

I was wondering if you had a link to Richard Webster, or if you could give us some of the techniques that he uses. Always interested in how another one uses cartomancy. Although he has his own set of meanings, and I have mine, but I'm always looking for ways of improvement.
