time frame for card of the day

I recently picked up the habit of drawing a card of the day. It has happened more than once that the card I drew wasn't specifically appropriate for that day, but the day after it was spot on! It's like the deck telling me 'well nothing special is happening today, but here's the next thing that's worth mentioning that I can give you'. Do you guys have similar experiences?

Well technically if you aren't specifying the day, the pull could be for any day

Maybe phrase the question like "what energies are surrounding me TODAY..." or "what do I need to know TODAY"

It's happened to me a few times, but usually with Lenormand cards. Tarot seems to keep to the point for me, I suppose!

I do agree with Beekie, keep the question tight and specific, (if you aren't already doing that!) it does help
