Sacred Circle - the ephemeral cups of the 6 & 7

I have just gotten my Sacred Circle deck. I've been doing my own study of it, and am making my second pass through the cards, noting my impressions.

These cards stopped me dead in my tracks. I love both of them. The translucent quality of the cups is so evocative for interpretations of both cards.

On the 6, the Cups are a fading and distant memory - perhaps pleasant, but I see a dreamy quality about the card. It reminds me that I cannot hang on to the "good old days," I must make good new days.

The 7 of Cups uses the same type of art, but the cups appear to be rising, as if they, and the delusions they represent, will float out of the picture altogether, fading away.
