How We View Reading Lenormand for Others

DownUnderNZer

When I use the Lenormand it is to give insight into situations and people as well as to answer questions in a direct to the point way.

However, with one friend of my sister's who was told she would NEVER have children I told her that SHE WOULD, I told her what was the underlying issues, and what to do to resolve it which meant she needed to see a specialist. I'm not a doctor, but as it turned out I was right when she did all the tests etc. I was also right with the timing of her pregnancy.

She followed my advise to a tee as well as the specialist and now has a beautiful 10 month old baby.

So, sometimes when a person is up against a wall and given no hope, I will take a look at the Lenormand to see if that is indeed the case or if there is something that can be done. And with her....we proved the doctors wrong.

For the rest of my life, as she is a chef, I will more or less be getting my fave foods when in her company. :D

Thank you all for your lovely posts and perspectives

I wanted not just to state my opinions, but to read others. Readers must decide what they wish to read on, how they wish to read and what expectations to share with their sitters.

I think it is very important that readers have a venue to not just talk about the HOW of readings, what Lenormand card means this or that, even "traditional" readers vary as traditions vary, many readers may combine traditions, but it's also important to share the way they see the ethics of reading, their perception of what a reading should or should not be expected to do.

One thing that is of concern to me is seeing a sitter get overly dependent upon the cards and see them not as a tool, not to help give them some perspective, but as showing them how to live their life, their destiny. Like they have no choice and they are coming to the cards to TELL them outcomes, to TELL them what they should do.

I do believe Life changes, ebbs and flows, and that's why I personally don't like to try to read further out than about six months. Perhaps a psychic can "see" an outcome, but I am not a psychic and I don't believe the cards are either.

I do really believe they can help show a path, a direction, choices and just helping a sitter look at a situation a littler clearer, sometimes see it from a different angle, I think that is plenty to expect from the cards. It's what the sitter does with this information that matters, not the information itself.
