Need help identifying a Marseille deck

FLizarraga

Long story short: My first Tarot ever (one I have never read with) is a Spanish Marseille I received as a gift almost 20 years ago from my then landlady. It did not come with the box, it was already missing a couple of pips when I got it, and it's mostly used as decoration around the house.

Today I received a mini Camoin-Jodorowsky I had ordered from Alida (for the price of a MAXI), and I noticed that, colors aside, the images are nearly identical to my old Marseille. So I got curious, and lined up the cards with the only other Marseille I have at home, a Universal Marseille from LS. (I have bought the Vision and Flornoy's Noblet, but neither of them has arrived so far.)

The CJ's 2 of Disks says CAMOIN JODOROWSKY 1471-1997
The LS Universal's says CLAUDE BURDEL CARTIER ET GRAVEUR 1751
My old anonymous Marseille's says 1748 B.P. GRIMAUD 1930

I'm assuming Old Anonymous is the Grimaud version redrawn for/by Paul Marteau. (Apparently both Marteau and Camoin copied the Conver deck at some point, or so I have read, hence the similarities. The LS Burdel is completely different, as far as Marseille decks go, which is not very far at all, but at least it looks like it was drawn by somebody else.)

Now, in this particular case, does it mean that Old Anonymous was printed in 1930 or that it is a copy of the 1930 Marteau deck? (There is a possibility, as my landlady was old as dirt. Is. She was still around last time I checked, feisty as ever, still dying her hair a bluish black. Witches never die.)

Paul Marteau (1885-1966) became head of the Grimaud card factory (founded by Baptiste Paul Grimaud) in 1920 and published the successful Ancien Tarot de Marseille in 1930. [http://www.tarotpedia.com/wiki/Paul_Marteau]

The current Grimaud is basically the same as the early Marteau decks. The colors are deeper and a few details have changed slightly, but it is essentially the same deck. Here is a scan of the two of coins from my deck, which is a comparatively recent printing.

On the left is a Dusserre facsimile of an early Marteau. On the right is the current Grimaud. I have indicated the major differences.

Thanks for the very useful responses, LRichard! The details highlighted show that it is not the early one, but the colors are of the early Marteau. I'm guessing it is an edition done sometime in between.

The back is unlike any other Grimaud I have seen. (And last night, among other things, I went through this complete post: http://www.tarotforum.net/showthread.php?t=57491. That was work!)

I just took a couple of pics. They're here: https://www.dropbox.com/sh/gegkhng1oez60mo/cCEJWB5JUh
