crystal/gemstone cards

Just wondering if anyone has any of the following decks:

Crystal Journey Cards
Crystal Ally Cards
Jewels of the Lotus:Tibetan Gemstone Oracle Cards
AORA: Gemstone Oracle

I am trying to decide which of these decks I might get. Does anyone have a favourite out of these, any comments or suggestions?

I don't have the following 78-card tarot deck and wouldn't particularly recommend it but here it is for completeness:

If you're into gems and crystals, we not use the 22 rocks listed in Cunningham's book and assemble a 22 rock Major Arcana? I think there are also lists of 78 rocks around, but that could get a bit expensive, even if you have small rocks.

Thanks Rusty Neon, I have seen the deck you mentioned at a store where they have sample decks so you can look at all the cards. Eek! The pictures are not for me.

Actually your other idea is a very good one. I go to a rock and mineral show every year and have been collecting I am sure I can pick up what I don't have and go from there. I have a feeling that none of the decks I mentioned will satisfy me since my feelings are very particular about stones. I don't have the Cunningham book, but will look into it. I have a book for the Thoth deck that mentions a gemstone for each major arcana card also, the stones seem to fit with the card. Thanks for your help.

Thanks Sweetscarlet (love your name!). The Aora and The Jewels of the Lotus are the top two on my list. Did you have to do a lot of reading (accompanying book) when using the Aora?

(3) And the gem assignments in both these lists differ from the gem assignments that the Akron/Hajo Banzhaf book on the Crowley deck gives. Is the Akron/Banzhaf book the one you have, Ruby7?


(4) There is a local store that says it sells 78 different kinds of crystals. I never asked the storekeeper if it has anything to do with tarot.

Ruby7, the only deck on that list that i have had is the Crystal Ally cards (sadly they got lost!! wah)...they were very helpful to me and definitely opened my mind and eyes to different ways to use cards for divination...the images are beautiful and i loved my deck (will have to add that to the list again...*sigh*)...the company that puts them out (or did at some point), heaven & earth, also has sets of all the stones in the deck...a "basic" set & an "expensive" set, i believe...don't know if this helps you at all, but i really did love using them...

Thanks Rusty Neon, yes it is the Akron/Banzhaf book that I have. I really like this book and find most of the gemstones fitting with the major arcana. But I am looking at the Cunningham list and I like most of them too. I will compare those two lists and decide what works for me card by card (using both lists)
