How to format a spread for medical issues?

Hi,

Q: How would you set up a spread to get more info on medical issues? How would you dive into what's going on physically?

Problem: I need help with my parrots health. I do know that tarot is not a clear answer and to take the conventional route first. I have spent a year and a half battling his health issues and I am at the end of the road as far as vets go.

Details I need to figure out: I need to know if it's a good option to do surgery. Also need to know if there is something I can do help his physical issue apart from the vet and if so what direction.. I have some supplement ideas and some other safe but experimental ideas I don't know if are worth doing.

Any ideas welcome. I don't want to lose my friend. I've had him for 17 years and in good health he has another 20-30 left. Driving myself crazy with haphazard card readings.. need to focus.
