H. Miller & the tarot

Philippe

The other night I was watching a documentary on the franco-german TV channel about Henry Miller. At some point, in Miller's Pacific Palisades house where he lived from 1963 to 1980, a woman does a celtic cross spread with a RWS deck (University books I suppose). Just out of curiosity does someone know who this person is ?

Interesting question. Wiki doesn't have much on his personal life, but there is this from his Pacific Palisades period:

"In 1944, Miller met and married his third wife, Janina Martha Lepska, a philosophy student who was 30 years his junior."

Reading tarot might be something we could expect from a philosophy student.

Thanks. It must be someone else in Phillipe's photo. Maybe a friend of Janina's?
