The Tarot of Aubrey Beardsley

I'm a big fan of Beardsleys work.
And so many of his pictures reminded me of tarot cards.
So I thought I would do a Beardsley deck.

So I did.

I reckon it turned out pretty good.

It started off as an excersise to see if I could find all the trumps from a very limited set of pictures.
then when I succeeded it turned into an excersise to see if I could make decent cards.
Turned out I could do that too!

I'm going to do 22 decks, one for each card.
Each deck will have 'it's' card on the box.

I'm doing them to sell.

They are a nice size... (runs off to find a ruler...)... about 5x3 inches.
Square corners.
Laminated.
Hand made.

But I'm only going to do 22.
One for each major. Each deck will have it's card on the box.

Three cards have been taken already.

WOW that's really beautiful! i really like how you did the cards, especially the empress. kinda reminds me of the works during the Arts and Crafts Movement. i hope that aside from selling the original pieces, you do try to self-publish them too. they really are gorgeous, you know.

Sorry. some confusion.

I am selling decks.

22 of them, one for each major.
and each will have a different card on the box. Which is why I was refering to 'cards' having gone.
Because people have been choosing the one they want on their box.

So,ther are decks for sale.
Self published, by me.

But ther arn't many left now.
About 5 I think.
